 Membership of SINDH Consortia

 i)        The Non Government organizations working on STI/HIV/AIDS can become the members of Sindh Consortia Partner provided their membership application  is routed out through divisional coordinator to the regional coordinator and then finally to the General Secretary for formal official approval of the executive body.

 ii)       The annual membership fee is Rs. 1000 for the all members’ organizations. The renewal membership fee should be paid within one month of the new calendar year. The membership will be considered suspended on non-payment of annual fee.

 iii)      The NGO should be registered with any of the government act of registration; if the organization is registered it should also have 2 years experience of working against STI/HIV/AIDS.

 iv)      The absence of the organization representative from two consecutive executive/general body meetings after the acknowledgement of notice without proper reasons, the membership cancellation notice will be issued. The membership will be cancelled on 3rd time consecutive absence from the meetings.

 v)       The membership may be canceled if an organization is not working for the aims and objectives of the Consortium after affording proper opportunity.

 DETAIL OF SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF SINDH Consortia

 i)        Coordination and inter linkages

 To build up coordination and linkages among the partners for strengthening of HIV/AIDS/STD’s prevention and control in the province of SINDH.

 ii)      Information

 To collect and disseminate information to the working partners, public and the communities to prevent and control STI/HIV/AIDS in the province of SINDH.

 iii)     Capacity building

 To plan and organize the capacity building programmes/workshops for the partners/member organizations to strengthen the work on STI/HIV/AIDS in the provinces of SINDH.

 iv)      Research

 To support new research work on STI/HIV/AIDS in the province of SINDH.

 v)       Resource center

 To establish a resource center for the communities, public, national and international working partners to prevent STI/HIV/AIDS in the province of SINDH

 vi)      Support services

 To build and facilitate the provision of support services for the people living with STI/HIV/AIDS.
