Purpose: To prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and STIs among Madaris Youth in Peshawar City.

Target Group: Direct Beneficiaries 300 Youth in Madaris (Indirect beneficiaries (400) rest of the students in Madaris |

Expected Outputs: · Increased awareness and knowledge regarding HIV and STIs among 300 Madaris youth. · Improved availability of STIs services & access to Voluntary Counseling and referral services. · Capacity building of 20 Peer educators as a master trainer on Gender basis.

Purpose: · To promote HIV/Aids prevention among Jail inmates in Kohat and Bannu Jails; · To educate the prisoners and Jail staff for prevention of HIV/Aids/STIs; · To train 120 individuals as peer educators on HIV/Aids; · To support National & Provincial AIDS Control Program to establish a creative partnership; · To establish Voluntary Counseling and Referral Centre; · Improved knowledge on Behavior Change Communication (BCC) |

Expected Outputs: · The Lead Organization will establish office and Hired Staff and will start interventions in the target community with partner organizations, and establish Voluntary Counseling and Referral Centre in Kohat and Bannu. · SHARP Peshawar will develop theatre group for awareness, · Welfare Hand Organization will Disseminate IEC materials, conduct Peer educators training, and implement this in the targeted community along with SHARP. · Increased Knowledge and practicing of HIV prevention including use of high quality STIs services in the targeted Jail. · Increased accessibility and use of condom, as well as use of new needles for intervenes drug users. · Strengthened capacity to effectively manage HIV/AIDS/STIs

Purpose: · To Increase awareness among 40% out of school workshop youth of Takht Bhai city on HIV/AIDS during the project duration(17 months) through out reach counseling and peer education. · To provide static counseling &treatment facilities on STIs through health cure centre to registered target youth &general population with special focus on HIV/AIDS.

Expected Outputs: · Capacity building training of the staff in project activities at the start of the project. · RSA &End line survey to Analyze level of awareness of target youth on HIV spread & prevention · Advocacy for creating enabling environment · Ensuring access of 40%of registered out of school workshop youth to counseling and treatment facilities at health care centre. · Providing field counseling services to 240 registered out of school workshop youth for understanding the modes of transmission of HIV/AIDS & its prevention. · Improved knowledge of 50%of registered out of school workshop youth on modes of spread of HIV/AIDS and its prevention. |
